Attorneys Daryl Parks and Benjamin Crump attended Florida State University School of Law, which conferred the degree of Juris Doctorates upon them in 1995.  Upon graduation they started their law practice of Parks & Crump, LLC in Tallahassee, Florida.

In 2008 Parks and Crump received the distinction of Philanthropists of the Year from the Big Bend Area Association of Fundraising Professionals.  Parks & Crump Law Firm sponsors scholarships to deserving individuals as well as give generously to charities and educational institutions.  The law firm has endowed scholarships at Livingston College, Florida A&M University, Bethune Cookman University and Florida State University for minority law students. Parks & Crump donated $1,000,000.00 to the Legal Services of North Florida while serving as chairman of their Capital Campaign.  This insures that poor people could continue to have quality legal representation and access to the courts. They also support numerous church events, school programs and community based activities in Tallahassee, Haines City and Lumberton, North Carolina.

Daryl Parks continues his commitment to serving his community as he currently serves on the board for the Tallahassee Urban League, Bethel Community Development Corporation and is Chairman of the board for the Leon County Sickle Cell Foundation.  Attorney Parks is the Past President of the National Bar Association.  He is the past Chairman of the Minority Caucus for the American Association for Justice (AAJ- formerly ATLA).  He was also Vice Chairman of the Women & Minority Task Force for the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (AFTL) now Florida Justice Association.

Attorney Crump was appointed as the first Board Chairman of the Florida’s Big Bend Fair Housing Center, Inc., a Federal Grant organization dedicated to the eradication of housing discrimination.  He was the first African-American Chairman of the Board of Directors for the FSU College of Law Alumni Association and also served as President of the National Black Alumni Association for Florida State University.  Attorney Crump currently is President for the National Bar Association.

They strive everyday to be caring, compassionate and competent attorneys who help people through difficult times while treating them with respect and dignity.  Some of their most notable cases have been Martin Lee Anderson, the young man that was killed in the Bay County Boot Camp; Trayvon Martin, the teen that was killed in Sanford by the neighborhood watch captain; and Michael Brown, the teen that was killed by the Ferguson, Missouri police officer.
